From IIM Amritsar to Bugsmirror: Our Groundbreaking Internship in Marketing and Strategy

As part of the inaugural Marketing and Strategy department, our small yet driven team had the privilege of shaping the department's foundation while contributing to Bugsmirror's overall success. In this blog, we will share the enriching experiences we gained, the impactful work we performed, and the remarkable work culture that made our time at Bugsmirror truly exceptional.


Day 01


As soon as we stepped into the office, we were warmly welcomed by the Bugsmirror team. They understood the importance of making us feel comfortable and part of the team right from the beginning. The day kicked off with a comprehensive induction program where we were introduced to the company's values, mission, and vision. The Bugsmirror employees actively engaged with us, sharing their own experiences and insights, which made us feel even more excited about the internship and eager to be part of it.



Building the Pillars of the Marketing & Strategy Department:


Being the first interns in the Marketing and Strategy department, we were entrusted with the responsibility of laying a strong foundation for the team. We took on this challenge with enthusiasm, determination, and a passion for making a significant impact. As the pillars of the department, we recognized the immense potential to contribute to Bugsmirror's growth by developing effective marketing strategies. In that, our primary task was to conduct market research, competitor analysis, B2B sales, and develop content.


Formulating Strategies and Content Development:


First and foremost, we were asked to formalize strategies that would enhance Bugsmirror's market presence and establish a strong foothold in the industry. Through thorough market research and competitor analysis, we gained valuable insights into the dynamics of the industry. Armed with this knowledge, we developed strategies tailored to Bugsmirror's goals and target audience.



Crafting a Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy:


One of the major perks of working in a growing start-up is defining the value proposition and getting the privilege to work on strategy and see the company implementing those strategies to finally see the result. When Bugsmirror was ready to launch its innovative "Free Security Audit" service, we played a pivotal role in crafting a comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. This involved identifying the target market, establishing effective distribution channels, and performing campaigns. Through meticulous planning and execution, we successfully launched the "Free Security Audit" service, generating significant interest and attracting new potential clients.

Beyond the enriching experiences and exciting projects, I must mention Bugsmirror's work culture, which is what truly sets it apart.
