An excited new intern
After joining Bugsmirror in early January, I have expanded my development skills as an intern.
I didn't know how much of an impact and growth I would see within my skills, but it has been one of the best hands-on learning experiences I have got. This is my first internship, and it is a lot more than I thought it would be in the best way possible. So far, I have already gained many skills and I have learned more about the different technologies used in the IT sector.
The hiring process was very smooth and fair. The procedure was carried forward in three phases. In the first phase, we got an assignment with a choice of any object-oriented programming language with a time limit of one hour. In the second phase, we have to make an app either using Android or Flutter or make a backend API using Golang. The HR and technical round is the final phase, where I got a chance to introduce myself and then my interview went smoothly.
The next day, I got the onboarding mail that mentioned the basic details of the joining and documentation process. This internship is of six months, and the first 14 days were the training. In my first week, I had undergone extensive research on Flutter and Golang as I had never worked with these technologies.
As for my expectations for the rest of my experience, I am thrilled to be learning more every day. I have been working with intellectual and bright minds, and I am pretty sure that I wouldn't have got as much experience as I have already if I were to be in a big MNC where interns may not even get the chance to be as hands-on as I have been able to.
This internship has given me even more real-world experience like never before, and it has also given me the chance to explore more skills and use my skills for the company's growth and betterment.
I am really fortunate to meet my team during this internship. Mr. Aman Pandey (CEO) who is very cooperative throughout the training period and Mr. Manas Jain (Mentor) who has been very helpful. We both bonded very quickly, and he didn't hesitate to show me the ropes of development and I'm glad that I could hold on to them. Since I started, Mr. Uday (HR) and Mr. Brijesh Kumar have been helpful and welcoming.
With such support, I sought enough guidance and great advice to help me move forward. The whole experience was incredible, and I want to dip my toes in the water, feel out my strengths and weaknesses, and learn more about what I could be doing after graduation.
I am incredibly grateful that this experience could be in person instead of virtual because I know it would not have been the same. It was a fun experience to work with other interns and witness the different skill sets everyone brought to the table.
Thank you to Bugsmirror for not only giving me a great internship and fantastic team but also for supplying me with the tools and experience to help me reach heights in my career.
